Take front trim off & and send to sleevles, install new wind deflector Finish taking seat frames & upper grab handles apart to paint reassemble side bolsters & sunpad.NO more pink&purple:drink: dewinterize, oil & gear lube change impeller Complete wash, buff & wax Finish new bunks for hoist Wow I better stop pushin these buttons and go get the boat:eek: |

Remedy made use of some equipment not usually used on a boat (for mechanical purposes that is) to get the impeller in place. They don't call him the flying magical mechanic for nothin! :drink: Thanks again buddy!

It doesn't matter how it goes in... just slide it on the shaft and give the pump a spin before bolting it up. I showed him all that in case he ever has to change one on the water. Especially with only one engine! I usually use 3m silicon paste, it won't eat the rubber if you are not gonna start it right away, but I think the wet worked better!! Slid right in. :grinser010: OCD is coming along as a boat owner!! :drink::drink: |

Ok, let me get this straight. You keep a bottle of lube in your toolbox? And this is for changing impellors?

It wasn't in the boat.. nor my tool box.... He asked for something that was non-corrosive that would work...
I may keep it on board now and in my toolbox just for a laugh. |
