33 compared to 37 active thunder cabins?
what is the difference in size, height , and layout of the cabins of the 33 and 37 active thunder boats?
|
4 feet :lolhit:
|
about 2 ft. in the cockpit and 2 ft, in the bilge extra
|
so than the cabins are the same ? the additional 4ft difference is the cock pit area and engine compartment your saying???

My buddy has a 33 i belive the difference is in the engine compartment and the cabin pretty sure the cockpits are the same.

Cockpit is the same as 37, bilge/sunpad is shorter and cabin is shorter. It is large for a 33 foot boat. I have 2 roughly 6 foot couches and a v berth big enough for 2. Sleep 3 or 4 no problem.

The first couple posts on this thread are wrong.
Majority is in the engine compartment. You lose the ability to put a generator in front of the motors in the 33, like you can in a 37. (Remember, we've built 37s with triples.) In the cabin, the 37 typically has a large U-shaped couch. In the 33, we typically configure the cabin with 2 opposing counches, and you step over a bulkhead to get into the V-berth. (So the couch/sitting area is about 18" shorter.) The cockpit size is the exact same in both boats; side entry or center. The head size is the exact same in both boats; side entry or center. Remember, the hull of the 33 is 9/10s the hull of the 37. They are designed to perform exactly the same; exactly like nothing else. |
thanks brian for the info, answered my question exactly!!!
