I've been browsing this site as well as other sites for years now, I've seen this boat multiple times.http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/11543
I remember when it was first for sale a year or so ago, and I remember seeing the videos posted from the new owner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B74CvoPcAB8. It seemed to run fairly well. With how many positive things I've heard about this boat, I find myself wondering the reason behind it being for sale currently. Are there issues with the boat? It looks like a nice piece of machinery, but as is with all things for sale it makes me wonder why? If anyone has any inside, or extra information regarding to the condition of this boat I would greatly appreciate knowing it. For whoever is currently selling the boat maybe this threat will pull a bit more traffic your way and aid you in the sale. I really like the fact it has a stock Merc engine, but I'm not oh so familiar with the carbed version rather the injected newer model. Regardless just thought I'd ask a few questions regarding this boat which appears to be in excellent shape at a great price.

Regards,
Josh

Its mine as of right now... Nothing is wrong with the boat... I just came into a situation with some deadbeat roomates where I need the money to get a house.... Simple as that.. Trust me, I have a lot of fun on that boat and hate to see her go, but priorities.....

Entirely understandable, the boat appears to be in great shape. Does the entire boat and motor have 300 hours total? Also has the engine been modified at all or is it the stock 600 carb'd sc engine form Mercury. Thanks' again, she's a nice piece of machinery.

Engine and hull are about 325 hours... Drive is still under 20 hours. Both carbs have been rebuilt by the previous owner right before I bought her. Everything is stock on the motor, no mods. Drive has been upgraded to the XR

I’ve personally seen this boat on the Chesapeake Bay and can attest that this boat is in excellent running condition. The current and previous owners took superb great care of it.

I don't doubt the condition of the boat at all, in a world where there's a ton of boats coming of age with modified engines in them, I really respect the stock Merc 600. If I could get the remaining portion of my college debt to dissapear I'd be all over this thing. I'm really surprised it hasn't movied yet, slow times I suppose. Are there anymore photo's of this rig floating around anywhere?

Excellent looking boat, looks like some good times. If only money weren't an object.
