boat name, what you guys think?

Been putting a lot of thought into this during my mind numbing shifts at work. And I'm pretty Hung up on this one.

"The spirit of THOR"

Figured being the Norse god of thunder it was fitting.

phragle 04-03-2012 04:24 AM

Sounds good...

My all time favorite was a friends... it said MENACE in big letters, underneath in small letters it said "to sobriety"

thirdchildhood 04-03-2012 08:05 AM

Meh

Keep thinking :)

My Addiction 04-03-2012 08:08 PM

why not just Thor?

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 08:13 PM

Nordic has a model called a Thor so I dont think I want just that on the back. Was thinking the spirit of part would add some class to it.

Expensive Date 04-03-2012 08:17 PM

If it works for you its fine. My wife named mine we went on a "date" to Atlantic City for lunch and the boat show. Bought the boat, and on the way home asked her what we should name it. She said Expensive Date so I did.:lolhit:

97FASTech 04-03-2012 08:28 PM

Thor Monger

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 09:14 PM

I was also thinking "No Degree" or "the alternative to having kids"

Boat names are hard :-/

1980Condor460 04-03-2012 09:17 PM

Boat names are tricky - I am going to Coast Guard Certify mine. I found that it was certified at one time as "Ready to Rock" and I am trying to decide whether to change it or leave it......

What names are out there on some AT's?
ThunderStruck
RadioActive
Audacity
Monsoon

Anybody have "Rolling Thunder"?

Sorry if I am hijacking your thread....

Condor,
Love that Jet in your Avatar!!!! :)

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 09:41 PM

Hijack away. This can be a think tank for my boat name.

Baja_man 04-03-2012 09:47 PM

"Wet Back"

1980Condor460 04-03-2012 09:48 PM

I was thinking "Thunder Up". But that is the slogan for The OKC Thunder.

Thanks J - I should be getting the heads back for it this week! Gotta love the sensation of speed in the little boats!

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 09:48 PM

Reign of Thunder

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 09:49 PM

Reigning Thunder

I like that

1980Condor460 04-03-2012 09:50 PM

That's not bad.

1980Condor460 04-03-2012 09:56 PM

Because mine was once Activated I was also thinking "ReActivated" because of all of the updates I will be doing to it. Of course I am just not very creative either.

THE 288 KID 04-03-2012 10:02 PM

No wet back here Wayne....

If anything since I'm a badass and all it would be

Caucasian deveststation

MIlander 04-04-2012 07:18 PM

Why not Thunder Clap could be a warning to the young ladies of what they could end up with if they ride your thunder:lolhit:

or maybe

AT your peril

POWERPLAY J 04-04-2012 07:28 PM

As stated boat names are tricky. I vote for REIGHNING THUNDER. But I have also been trying to name mine for 5 years now, for some reason no matter what slut I'm with BOOTY CALL is a no no. LOL

mgh 04-04-2012 07:29 PM

white power

thirdchildhood 04-04-2012 07:34 PM

KKK :daz: (jk)

I haven't named mine either but I use "little yellow Donzi" as a VHF i.d.

roughwater 04-04-2012 07:34 PM

boat names are like getting phrases tattooed on your body...you might think its cool at the time but you can bet your ass in a few years your going to think it sounds stupid, havent named mine yet, owell good luck anyway...

1980Condor460 04-04-2012 07:40 PM

I could never get away with "Panty Dropper" either. I always thought that would be the perfect boat name - then I was blessed with daughters......

roughwater 04-04-2012 07:49 PM

here in gary indiana when i was a kid there was one named "No Fat Chicks" and you guessed it the mf was surrounded with hot babes everytime it was out...my favorite was another from when i was a kid it was called "Street Life"now thats bad ass...

Funny you say that! I told fish awhile back after a trip to urbandictionary.com I was naming it thunder clap! I even had a dance made up to perform on the sunpad when I arrived to the hang out areas LOL

I think reigning thunder is the meal ticket for this boat. And its PG rated too LOL

Plowtownmissile 04-04-2012 09:18 PM

I've always wanted to name one of my boats "Gettin'em Wet" but being married with a kid its not real appropriate. Last boat was "LOO$E CHANGE" and the new one will probably be "Liquid Asset"

fatherb68 04-05-2012 12:21 AM

about 15 years ago there was a sonic on the hudson river named sin or swim. have not seen it in a while, always thought that name had a nice catch to it!

THE 288 KID 04-05-2012 04:11 AM

It had crossed my mind to go with "sin & sacrifice". It's a hatebreed song title

thirdchildhood 04-05-2012 07:13 AM

I think "Suck My Wake" will always be my favorite. :)

hotjava66 04-05-2012 07:23 AM

You could call it War Hammer, that way when you are anchored out you can ask the hotties if they want to see, take a ride, etc on your War Hammer......
Couple more: Rolling Thunder, Hyperactive, something along those lines
Or you can just call it Overcompensation:lolhit:

Anyway, don't listen to me, been two years and I havent named mine yet either.

Knot 4 Me 04-06-2012 11:47 AM

"Barn Find". :lolhit:

overlimits 04-06-2012 01:35 PM

Barn find, get my vote.

MIlander 04-06-2012 10:19 PM

as an AC DC fan i vote for Rollin Thunder:evilb:

ICDEDPPL 04-06-2012 11:05 PM

Knot Sea

AttitudeJr 04-07-2012 12:30 AM

attitude adjustment is a good name but taking

THE 288 KID 04-07-2012 12:39 AM

Imperial Wizard

brian41 04-07-2012 07:17 AM
