Now you can fantisize about twins! Personally that has been a life-long fantasy of mine.

That should be interesting!!!

How cool is that ? That very thought has crossed my mind, How about a pair of them on a 33 ? I don't think a pair of "7"s is any heavier than a set of 525's but its farther back. That's cutting edge for sure and should get some good press. When I was thinking about LS power that not what I had in mind, but that's another way to do it. Doug

Ls7

If LS power is the route taken, how about a Lingenfelter package?

Just a thought, could be a nice little contractual agreement between brands, or simply used for a drop in uptick in power. Then again I think we're all starting to realize I have some pretty crazy thoughts when it comes to marine equipment. Could be interesting regardless.

Pat, that will be one very cool boat with a "7". Looking forward to seeing that ride! I may have to swing by the shop.

Is the 29 on the website yet? I couldn't find anything. Where can info be found on it (pics, options, specs)?

I have to say though...that size boat and where I boat, I really don't need twins. It would be really nice for the piece of mind of twins if I was on Lake Michigan more, but right now I would prefer a Savage with a single....until I can find/afford a 33. If I am going to have to maintain double everything, I want it to really need it. I am not saying 2 engines and drives is a pain, it just seems like a 28 is just fine with a single. Thats is probably why the majority were built with singles.

I know where the purple 28 is.. It is in Moultonboro NH and been in storage for YEARS! I know the owner of the marina it is at. He did some work on my trailer and said to me: "I didn't know the 28 came with a single?" I found it odd considering the majority of them are. From my understanding only 3 were made with twins. New Moon, another (forget name), and the purple one. When I inquired he told me to go look at it. Sure enough it was the purple one with twins. Said it has been racked for at least 4-5 seasons now.

YOU HAVE MY FULL ATTENTION!!! Does it have the scorpions in it? Is it for sale? I am still thinking that would be an awesome boat with scorpions and then the reliability/piece of mind of having twins.

Sorry. I honestly do not know. I looked at it very quickly just to see if it was a 28 and a Thunder. Here is where it is stored: http://www.independentmarine.com/welcome.html
