Well I can't really recall but seems like it was for sale when I bought my first Tantrum 2 seasons ago, I vaguely recall it having a Crockett motor but heck I looked at so many boats I can't be certain. It coulda been last season when I picked up the 2nd Tantrum. I'm just glad you said an 01 vs an 05 cuz I want Outriggers IF that day ever arrives, lol. So which one ya lookin at so I can add the pics to my collection?

Thanks and you're right that boat wasn't the fastest but she never failed me. I hope to be there on the 27th.

They are one of very few builders w/anything that interests me. I talked to them a few mnths back about building me a 28' for twin O/B's. If I could pull it off, I'd be on my way.
Funny too, the older I get the less WFO #'s mean to me. My current boat has been complete for most of a year now and I still don't know how fast it is
We spend 95% of our time at 45 - 50 and w/this hull design (and a A/T) you can stay there through most of what you see. Try that in a fly weight vee w/14 steps
I've spent a lot of time going fast in boats not designed for it and fixing broken parts after the fact. Done w/that.
Be sure to post up some good shots when you get your new baby home. I'm jealous
