getting nicely started on it. Got the sides wheeled out and the interior done. Still have to wheel the deck and wax the whole boat

Useable.

I know this has been covered in the past, but I would love another opinion from a new owner. Being as I'm sure you've crawled around the cabin, I've always wondered. Just how sleep friendly is the bed area and how user friendly is the enclosed head. Just something I've constantly pondered over in regards to the 28.

i would say more user friendly than any 28 on the market. The V berth is over 6'. The head is useable for anyone that is average sized id say. Im 5'9 180lbs and would have no problem using it.

POWERPLAY J 01-06-2013 06:47 PM

And it rides like a much bigger boat!!!

I had a cushion made that fills the area between the couches. I sleep in the front berth and my daughter and wife sleep across the new cushion with head and feet on the couches. Worked great back then. Now that she's 5'6...not a chance. Now, the cushion will add sleeping area for my wife and I only. As for the head. I don't close the door and use one knee. I suppose one could sit but they should turn in their man card at that point.

Do you have any pics of how you did your center cushion
and how its supported? I'm going to build one as well.

We will be north a couple of times this summer. My girlfriend has a bunch of friends in TC. And already took work off for Boyne.

See you up at Boyne! We'll be taking that trip again this year.
