Congrats! Glad it worked out for both parties. I assume it was as clean as Greg claimed? Steve should be happy it's still in such good shape. (Steve Libby was original owner.)

Yes, It was exactly as Greg described! couldnt be happier! Question for you Brian...I'm thinking about installing some quick pin style cleats to hold fenders in the towards the back...is it structurally strong enough to hold them if I were to install them above the vents or in the general area?

Go with the mushroom cleats. Pin cleats just cause damage to boats when newbs sling them around pin attached. Mushroom cleats require no special doo-dads and you can hang anyone's fender, not just yours. The mushroom cleats come with a nice backing plate and, yes the deck is fine for such up there.

If it were me, I'd rip off those toe killer stick up cleats too and go with pull-ups. I like pull-ups more than pop-ups as the pop-ups eventually bind.

i had the mushroom cleats on one of my other boats and liked them..was just thinking of something more flush. I agree with you on the toe killers! lol. those are next. should i go with the 6' cleat or the 8' cleat
