Yes, It was exactly as Greg described! couldnt be happier! Question for you Brian...I'm thinking about installing some quick pin style cleats to hold fenders in the towards the back...is it structurally strong enough to hold them if I were to install them above the vents or in the general area?

Go with the mushroom cleats. Pin cleats just cause damage to boats when newbs sling them around pin attached. Mushroom cleats require no special doo-dads and you can hang anyone's fender, not just yours. The mushroom cleats come with a nice backing plate and, yes the deck is fine for such up there.
