Nothing hard work and some cash can't fix.
Look at the bigger picture cored hull and it is not a resin bucket.
Is it a Balsa cored boat ?
If it did sink and it was in salt water that changes everything.

Whatever core it is would not be affected by water since it is encapsulated. Rot is only an issue where holes are drilled and not sealed.
