I'm going to break every one's heart. I had twin 800's in a 97 32' went 3 years without any trouble. This was before Mercury went to 3 different types of Bravo's.
Top speed on boat was 103mph, that was before a put a hole in one of pistons with bad gas on a Poker Run. Even did the Miami to Key West Poker Run with no trouble.
Since then my luck has not been so good. Have outboards with Warranty!!!!

Back to the question about bravo's. There are alot of things that you have to consider. The drive hight, water conditions, how hard you accelerate, how hard you run and how good you are on the throttle on re entry.
