I try to get along with everyone here, and I'm not trying to be a dlck; but I don't see how bragging about passing other boats during a poker run is worth the brag.

Last year I did Boyne Thunder with my 72 year old Dad aboard. A few years prior to that, I ran the Chicago Poker Run in the snottiest water I've ever seen; BIG shlt; but I didn't tow 800 miles to stay on the trailer. I run my boat very differently pending conditions, passengers, load, weather, etc. etc. I don't see how it's all that relevant if someone stated they flew by me given what I just described.

No one passed me in the 38 PQ! I was the last boat on purpose! Glad I was, got to see the Fountain pass all the 3rd group boats, was glad to be able to tell the police the dork was not part of Boyne Thunder.

That's not the way I meant it to come out if that's the way you took it. After the wreck a lot of the boats got spread out pretty good. I just happen to be running beside that boat for a leg of the run. Just was trying to give some info on how the boat ran in diff conditions.

Some of the areas with a lot of spectator boats moving along after the groups went buy mixed with so 32-40 ft large cruisers made for some pretty rough stuff. Nothing like Lake Erie but good enough when running 60-70 mph. I will post some video from go pro when I get it all done

Gotcha. Just curious. I know a lot of guys that consider 2' washing machine slop snotty. And since I run lake Michigan 99% of the time 2' is calm and.4' + slop is snotty to me
