When the video comes out and the Monday morning (offshore) quarterbacks in lake and river boats say the seas were flat here are the actual facts:

Lighting and angles make it look smooth. No 3-5s here.

cosmic12 10-22-2013 04:46 PM

Very good looking boat, clean..

Sydwayz 10-22-2013 05:07 PM

That paint job is rather plain IMO.

Yeah, I agree. I would never ride on that boat to Key West. I would rent a car or something.

Little overhead shot with the designer.

Very clean sharp classic look. Looks great...

sommerfliesby 10-22-2013 07:13 PM

That is GORGEOUS. I happen to like the red.

NICE! I like the clean simple look. Lets you see how nice the lines are on the boat. Only thing I would have done different was to make the bottom tan.

Well, the way the boat is built and offered we will add graphics included. We went this route simply to widen the audience. It has a real look of class about her and will be in water at Miami in February. I expect a bunch of interest from the serious buyers and not the prop-kickers. (is that a word?).

I simply have set Active Thunder up to come out on the other side of the 'recession cloud' in tact. We are still building boats and our competition.......? Well, who is left?

And we deliver. Need I say anymore?

509 SC 10-23-2013 08:47 PM

Pat,
The boat looks huge in the solid red, are you sure that's not the first 43?
Steve

cosmic12 10-23-2013 09:32 PM

Leave it alone,it's perfect! I am sure you will get a lot of action with it. I know you will be ready to rock when the time comes and I hope it does. We have always said the way you produce your boats is brilliant and set up for the long haul to be around when most of the others sink under pressures that seam to elude A.T.
Maybe someday,........... at least I keep telling myself that.

AND, you have done a great job weathering the storm... but, you "could" be THE CUSTOM BOAT BUILDER again, (you know EXACTLY what i mean)...step back, look at the big picture (marketing, not manufacturing) and THINK, and think hard. Grab a lite beer and think OUTSIDE the typical industry like you did before... so far, you are in survival mode, why knot be the front runner again? Be ACTIVE, not RE-active!!!
:)

Those prop-kickers are easy to pick out of the crowd. They are the ones either trailing blood from their flip-flops or with big bandages on their feet.

I guess when I came down to look, you could have mistaken me for a prop-puncher, though...which would have been an honest mistake...considering my thumb looked like this:

Pat,

What did you think of the 565's?

One word: LOVE.

MrCIG 10-27-2013 07:12 PM

Looks nice the only thing I would do is the deck hatches should be black to compliment the black in the interior

Mark

FastandFun 10-28-2013 09:40 AM

Thanks Pat! I heard that those 565's are pretty sweet. I have been looking at this Beautiful red boat and wondering what if you ran a black 1-2" pin strip to help accent/tie in the cockpit. I think it would make the boat look long and finished.

This boat is for sale in the OSO Classifieds; built for "Excess" here on OSO who likes to build them; enjoy briefly, and then start on another. We are happy to adjust paint as requested by the new owner. Have gun; will travel.

Great video thanks for sharing! After taking my own go pro video and purchasing helo pics of my boat I have quickly learned to double or triple what the video shows the wave height to look like.

The new 37 is definitely eating up the rough in this video! Good way to prove how great it does but can you go back out and take another one getting some air! It just looks cool that way lol!

See post #1.

I posted that the day we shot it. Knew it was going to take some time to get the video back.

I don't see any heights...the "tonight section" I do but not at that time. WTF am I missing?

Boat looks great, even in red.
