The first generation silver carbon fiber was absolute junk, which was that timeframe. It scuffed and scratched very easily, and the chemicals used to waterproof the Sunbrella covers destroyed the dye. That's why the interior was redone. Pat ought to be able to help with the manufacture of the vinyl.
