i ran a set of the hydromotive p5x for the second half of last summer and i am not real impressed. i started out w 30 pitch and couldnt spin the RPMs all the way up. could only get 4800 rpm. so i switched to 28 pitch and now i spin the RPMs i need... but top speed is down and just not overly impressed at any rpm range. im getting out of the hole better than w my 32 pitch 4 blades but that is about it. i heard a few guys on here say they worked well and hydromotive is local to me so i bought a set. kinda wished i would have done more research.

I have never had any luck on any boat with Hydromotive. Had them on a 26 Velocity 32 hustler 35 café and a 28 donzi zx. Seemed to blow out easy biotch getting on plane. Stern lift seems up a bunch also it seemed.

I believe we ended up running a set of labbed 29 P5x Hydro's and was a real good all around prop for the stock 525's with a nice top end as well. Plane time was way better then the merc 4 blades for sure. Brett at BBlades should still have the set-up on file.
