I love the ATs but the only thing I don't care for with the 32 is the pipes above the swim platform. Seems like that's a invitation for a burned or sliced ankle and stubbed toes.

A lot of them are configured that way, but that was due to the old Mercury headers/manifolds height & output angles combating reversion. We've converted a few boats to under the platform, so it's really not a showstopper.

They don't really get hot, but they are sometimes in the way at that position. They do look badass in overhead photos at speed though, and with dry exhaust, it's just a little bit loud.

I had my swim platform custom made and it is above the tips/mufflers. Mine is a 1997 and the last year of the flat transom. Not sure how it'd work/look on 1998+
