I think Laslo is running some 5 blade Maxi's or Herings, but then again Remedy said I was wrong going with a center entry, so take it with a grain of salt! He would be a good person to talk to and is in your neck of the woods.

I guess my memory isn't what it used to be, I knew they were 5 blades at least!

Clark borrowed some and put them on Stealin' Thunder several years ago for a day. With 525/XRs, he got 90.1 mph out of it on GPS with a light load in salt water. He said it was a ***** to get on plane, and not worth it.

Consequently, he bent the props coming back in and ended up having to pay for them.

I talked extensively to Jeff at Hering and I'm going to to try a set I think. I'll report back the outcome.

With the stock 525 set up boat really liked the 5 blade Hydro P5x props 89 mph. With the bigger power the boat liked the 5 Blade maxis that Bret dialed in for us. Talked to Herring in depth and both agreed it was not the route for the set-up we ran as well as plaining. But Herrings are on now.
