Very easy on fuel. Gets 2+ MPG at 53. Can't get much more reliable than a small block Chevy. Makes the word contemplating mean more.

Before engine rebuilds with slight cam and valve train upgrades 71 in Florida on labbed props. Last year after rebuilds and stock B1 24's prop's 200 RPM's more on Lake Michigan. Never brought the GPS yet. It's definitely faster, especially the acceleration, than the Florida trip. Unless someone comes to me...... it will have labbed B1 26's, and the 1" spacers removed (per Pat's advice) this summer. Might try turning in also??? My guess 75+ max after. Again, it's not how fast it is, it's how well it goes fast. So yeah, 112 on 6ft'ers.
