Roll call / Info for Thunder Run 2015
#41
I launched here today:
http://www.capeharbour.com/
It's a little tight to get into the place, but it's doable even with a 37' and a truck with a terrible turning radius. You will have to make a VERY WIDE RIGHT TURN to turn into the marina complex, but it's easy to turn up the lane and back down to the ramp. Use the PORT SIDE of the ramp per local instructions as the SB side has a large drop off. They can also fork you in if you want as well.
Follow the signs for Rum Runners Restaurant. The ramp is between the restaurant and the boatel.
$10 ramp fee, but you CANNOT park there. You have to run your truck/trailer back over to Tarpon Point Marina where we are staying. There is a giant field right near where the boats are docked where you can park trucks and trailers.

You guys should of stuck around on Sunday, we had a great run up to Burnt Store Marina with Remedy and Monsoon, it was just a perfect day! It was great meeting everyone and think it was a great venue to base out of. Glad someone finally found his boat keys! Wonder who that was???

That was a blast!!! I'm glad everyone that could come did. Thanks to Pat And Diane for lunch and picking gasparilla's. I'll go back there. Thanks to Bob and Shari for putting the run together. Tarpon point was a good place for the run.
If it was easy to post pics with my phone I would. But most everything is on facebook.

All the boats looked great when you did a fly-by past Fort Myers Beach this past weekend. I idled through the miserable mile with you guys on Saturday or Sunday night, I had the blue 39' Nortech CC that is parked at the marina next to the Westin. My nephew and his buddies all commented how incredible your boats looked and sounded. I wanted to stop down and check out your boats, but we were a little slow in the morning to get rolling. I'll try to post some pictures I took from our condo.
