So would this boat be less stable than a newer 37 if it power was bumped up to like 750ish a side?

Everything is adjustable with props and drive heights. This boat would run like a scalded dog with that kind of power.

Guys this thread is not supposed to get busy, I was hoping that 37 could be my little secret. My first buyers financing fell through so I'm still trying to move my checkmate. Man I want this boat,

LOL, I have been looking at that boat since it was first listed. I just hate the idea of flying/driving half way across the country to see that it is beat. I have been down that road before. In fact, just looked at a supposedly "extremely clean" 38 lighting tuesday that looked like it has sat outside uncovered for the last 15 years, rotten cuddy floor and all. I guess some peoples idea of clean is differnt than mine.
