When I reported I thought I fixed my problem it was ~ 4am so I could not actually start both engines without being the biggerst jerk in the hood. I just checked to se if the engine would turn over. What I did not realize is that the way I had "fixed" this seemed to fire up both starters yet only actually start the engine aligned with the key. Obviously this would not due. I had not seen Griff's idea because I was on the boat till 4am trying to fix this (and watch a couple movies) however the "hail mary" solution i came up with was exactly what Griff had suggested a few hours earlier
I like the idea of a "theft prevention switch", maybe this is what the "muffler" switch was to be used for (I like the idea of using a switch out in the open vs. one hidden away).
