Interior sidewall removal 37 AT

How do you get to the nuts to remove the sidewalls? Were they bolted into the deck and then dropped onto the hull?

That is different than my 32 but my friend with the straight bottom 37 just had his interior done last year and it has the same side panels as yours.
Marine/Boat Upholstery ? HYTECH Auto Trim ? Automotive Upholstery, Window Tinting ? Car and Truck Accessories did the work.

I believe the back one is accessible through the bilge. The others, you may have to take out the access door on the bottom and speaker. Some have added a speaker higher in the front for accessibility lol

You have to tape a ratchet wrench to something that is a couple feet long and go through the speaker hole.

Can you go through the speaker hole to get everything on the bottom loose and then pull the bottom of the panel back to get to the top ones? If it isn't open behind the panel, you could always add more speakers.

Bilge is solid across with not access. I'll remove the access door tomorrow.

I'll try the speaker holes. I just put the 8's in last summer. Before there was only 6.5's in there so that must have been a bitc# if that's how they did it.

That's a damn good looking interior. It appears they removed and installed it without making new access holes. Encouraging.

It also appears that his "Loincoin" floor has also stained. Which boat is this? I think there are only 3 37' straight bottom boats. Power??

I think there might be 5-6 straight 37's. It used to be tfarmer's boat and he bought it from Fastboats. https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...y-looking.html

My friend Geno bought it from Timmy almost 2 years ago. It wasn't listed at the time, but had been about a year earlier so I put them in touch and the deal got made. It has the original 500efi's with about 300hrs now. The floor was redone with seadeck like stuff right after the interior. Our slips at our LOTO condos are right next to each other.

The best way is to send a small person/child up through the storage access at the floor, with the correct size ratchet wrench. I'm 6'2", and I was completely inside of my gunwales a couple times when I was installing the stereo.

I had to crawl in mine and use speaker holes. It's a fun job :)

I only had to cut up a little bit of the boat... lol I removed the vinyl wall covering and there was an access area. I couldn't get into and contort enough on the port side to reach the upper bolt. This was all blind and I was just guessing where the nut would/should be. I tethered my ratcheting wrench to my wrist so when I dropped the wrench it would not fall into the abyss of nowhere. I luckily found it and after 20 mins I was able to remove the nut and washer. On the port side I still need to remove the nut on the top left near the bilge in the first pic. I'm going to have to access it from inside the bilge. There is a little spot that I can cut with a hole saw and get my arm and wrench in there. This will also allow me to tighten the backseat arm rests through this hold. They were loose and had no nuts on them already.

Griff,
Did he order it from Seadeck? Or through a distributor? If Seadeck already has the pattern that might help me out.
Thanks

It was done by Lake Grip at LOTO and the product they use is Hydroturf. They did the template and install. They work out of Precision Paint Worx shop.
