Are all Active Thunders a full composite layup?? Looking for a first ride and don't want to deal with the problems of wood stringers and transom.

That 32 should be composite.

My 2000 37' is wood with a rotted transom (pretty much all gone) and a couple bulkhead fittings rotted on the side of the hull. (no gel coat sealing anything) Currently tearing it apart and replacing transom and part of the hull sides right now. (I bought it knowing the transom was bad)

There's nothing wrong with wood boats, just how they how they are cared for. I have an '86 Wellcraft Scarab Panther that is solid. If everything was true on the internet that boat should have had 3 transoms and 2 sets of stringers by now.

My 1997 and earlier years are for sure wood layups. I thought 1998-1999 was when AT went to the no wood transom and stringers, but they may not have done it on all models or may have given the purchaser an option. It has always surprised me about Rookies boat being a 2000 and wood layup. I'm guessing the hull may have been laid up prior to the change over.
There is still wood used in newer models, just not in the transom and stringers.
