I know that Lawler guy will probably show, Im uncertain on the Miami show dates, but thought it was late Jan or early feb, anybody know.:D

The boat show is Feb. 13-18 2003. I just wondered if everyone gets together for the show.

Not that I know of, wish I could go.

We're back from Key West.. Had a great time but sure wish the Thunder family had all been there!!!
January in the Keys sounds great... I vote for Holiday Isle (Tiki Bar!!).
A Destin run in the spring sounds great too! We live in the area and can help with plans, destinations, etc... and we have 200 ft of pier behind the house to tie up to for an afternoon cookout... if everyone wants to! :D

That sound awesome, Shari:D Since some of us have been to The Keys an ungodly amount way more than others this year, where would you want to stay, if not the same place. I would like to cruise a little more (yeah, my motors are fixed) this time to all the same destinations and new ones. That makes 6 boats and crew, anyone heard from Mike Petrone lately.

We have the weekend set. Once the location is figured out. I suggest we start a new thread with the specifics. I vote for the Holiday Isle and the Tiki Bar;). How far could we realistically go from there on a day trip?

I like the idea of a long cruise. I would like to go all the way to Key West if that is possible without doing a lot of Ocean time (unless it's as flat as when we left for Key Largo).

Is there a nice hotel and plenty of slip space at Holiday Isle ?

Its all about the Big, Bad AVH, bring on the waves. H20, and Todd W. the boat will get up on plane with the 1 motor and run 55, Pat will probably Whipple those single motors so you guys can keep up with us:p :D

you must not have heard, Jeff had Pat add an extra 90gallon fuel tank in his boat. No more running out of gas..;)

I remember a few things about Holiday Isle. I got gas there:eek: I had A beer there:mad: and all I remenber from the pool is yellow:rolleyes: . Don't remember much else though:(

You are right about on thing, that pool was NASTY. I run over 125 commercial pools a year and I have seen pools that have been closed all winter that look better than that swampy water. NASTY.:(

I'm still alive, just really busy with work and spanking everyone at the local poker runs.Glad to hear your boats in order, Sounds like you'll be ready for me this time:p.
Steve and Leander are driving down next weekend to visit, their also bring me the shorties. The only problem is we can't find any tall props. Does anyone have a set of stock 34s or labbed 36s. I'm turning my 32s 5900 with stock lowers, I'm figuring another 400rpms easy with the 2" shorties.
The keys and Destin runs bolth sound great.

Well I can finally say we are in. Looks like we will be a party of four. If memory serves me right Holiday Isle is on Islamorada. How long of a boat ride is this and how long would it take to get to Key West from there on a day trip?

Hey everyone. Are you ready for the Thunder Run ??????? Tbikini and I are ready to rumble. I gotta tell ya, we may want to rethink Key West. Based on the snot we were in today, I think we should stay a little further North, My computer is very slow while on the road so this is about all I can get posted. But believe me, we do not want to get to Key West and have some bad winds kick up:eek:

By the way, who is making the plans ? Jeff, is that your department or should we appoint someone......who is not me:D ?
