If I may ask.... What happened to your "old deck". Where there problems with the ship? Just keeping on top of any AT quality issues. Thanks.

Jeff, Thanks so much for the explanation, I feel so much better knowing that someone had to pay for your new deck.

As long as my 500 gets replaced with a 525, I've got no problem with that. Boat might run sidway's, but I could live with that you know.....like the throttles.

Who in line is getting 525's that I could use..........Hmmmmmm, let's see.......oh yea, it's Stan

Jeff,
Nobody told me I had to pay the other half

Kevin,
Thanks for the 500s, I'm sure Stan will understand you taking his 525s.

Happy Thanksgiving......and what a giving group this is. I'm paying for Jassy's new deck, Kevin giving me his 500s, Stan's 525s to Kevin,....and it's not even Christmas yet.

Wild Horses,

JJ still has the same deck, we are just having some fun with H20.

Of course Stan understands, he is taking my 675's. I feel sorry for the next guy in line wqho is building a boat, I think it is Massive Thunder. He is paying for some 900 hp motors for me and some pulse drives.... Thanks Big Al, I appreciate it.

Hey guys while you are doing all this deck switching do you think the guys in the shop could put one of the old 37 decks on my 28. But then again I guess that would be like having a Fountain.

Well I dont call it stirring the pot.And here is why.
The F-2 boat w/500 efi's runs 90.You should get a 5-7% increase in top end with the pulse drives. Not to mention the added hp of the 525's.97mph may be a bit of a stretch but 95mph should be an automatic.Lets also keep in mind that I am talking about a standard cabin boat.

Hey Massive, is that a Pat 97 or a GPS 97

What about resale ? Also what is the cost difference ? You need tranny's with the pulse drive and those are not maintenance free and they will break under high horsepower high load operation.

Hi H2O,

The Pulse is taking over! I'm making the leap on my Cig (I'll get an AT as soon as I have the $$$). Just tired of dealing with Bravo. Too much **** to break with them. The only way the Pulse can effect resale (neg) is if someone wants to race the boat in a class that doesn't allow surface drives. Other than that, I should increase the resale because of durability.

Cost? About the same as Bravo 1's (I'm talking all of a Bravo 1, including transom assy, bellhousings, rams, etc.) Less than XR's.

Trannys break under high HP/load? Not if you put the right one on! Sure, anything breaks. I'll bet Massive and I go through 1 tranny between us in the same time you go through 10 or 15 Bravos. Oh, did I mention we won't be throttling the boat when it catches air? Try that with Bravo's! Maybe better up the number of Bravos to 20-30!

Hey Massive, when you get your boat together, I'll fly up and go for a ride with you. We can run with Jass and I'll hold up a chalk board with the GPS numbers. Sure, He'll be a little faster... But he has a few more ponies than you. Oh, and I'll help with the tow ropes for when his drives break! Oh, yeah. I forgot. These are Active Thunders. They plane well with one engine. Well, we'll go on ahead and chill some extra beer for his arrival!

I know... I'm a damm trouble maker!

Mongo
