I bought this boat last October and have only had it on the water once for a short time. I have been reading a lot of about its history and have talked to the past couple of owners. What I have learned about the boat is that it was Bob Morgans boat that he raced at LOTO and I am told he won in 1995 with this boat. I do not know how the boat was rigged when it was raced but you can see in the pics it had extension boxes and based on the engine hatch cut out for clearance I'm sure it had superchargers with much larger cubes than it has now. Currently it is rigged with 454 mag mpis with prochargers I am not even certain of the boost range because the boost gauges were not working on my one ride. The engines have forged bottoms now thanks to the previous owners as you can imagine a 454 mpi wouldn't last long with boost. The boat itself is in incredible shape the hour meters read less than 100 hrs and judging by the condition it might be possible but who knows its an old boat. The boats odd paint job was done by Joey Earl of kangaroo graphics in Florida who also painted the very well known Allez Vite Apache with a very similar paint scheme (Its wild what you can find from people on Facebook). I am confused on the builder though the boat title has the name listed as an Active Thunder and I was told 1994 was when Pat bought the company so I'm not sure who would have built it. I am interested in any more info anyone may know about it and wanted to share what I have learned so far.

Gorgeous boat!
Question, why do the transoms look so different from past to present? When the motors were changed did the entire transom get redone?
Exhaust tips lowered below the rub-rail and extension boxes removed.

Yes, the transom was redone when they re rigged the boat. They did an excellent job on it to the only noticeable thing is where the two gel coats come together at the corners the repaired part is slightly whiter than the existing gel coat. I don't know who did the work or why they decided to re rig but its well done.
