Default Thunder EnLightening's Comin' to Life

Talked with Pat this evening and he has been doing a little magic on TE. He put some Labbed 30's on it today and hit the rev limiters. And the best part was the boat was going 82 mph. Not sure how much is left but looks like a set of labbed 32's may be the ticket.

Oh.....and for those on the Thunder Run, I understand the throttles are fixed

H2OWarrior is smillin' tonight

Just to note, when we were discussing motor options with Steve and Pat, we were assured that an AVH with 500 EFI's would run 88 mph. Hummm! Good numbers all the same though.

Wild Horses, I think a 37 AVH with 500's can run 88. My boat is very heavy. It has corian counter tops, A/C, hot water heater, a 4kw diesel genset etc. It should run 84 when Pat gets her dialed in completely. It also has XR drives which rob a few more mph. Pat is going to try some standard Bravos to set a new base line.

The boats are fast.

I spoke with Pat yesterday and he said the boat Whatever which is fully loaded including genset ran 76MPH right out of the box with 496 HO's. There were five people on board and a full tank of gas. This was with prop's that weren't labbed finished and usually you will pickup a MPH or two when the motors loosen up.
Not to shabby!
