The run was great, Sandy and I met the usual A.T. rowdy crowd, which was just a big drunk, as well as met some new people, Keith and Audrey, which loved to party as much as we did, even though they owned a 45 Sonic, did I mention triple KE 850's. The weather on Friday was mid 60's with a 20-25 cross wind, (yea real fun) and warmed up slightly on the way to key west, (more like the frickin wind chapped all my senses). Saturday was 47, yea we went boating, notttttt. A run to key west was in order, that was a blast, that was our first time there and it reminded Sandy and I like we were some what in New Orleans, ate and drank till I could do no more. Sunday warmed up, (55 is better than 47) and on the way to Miami it got up to 69, (my favorite number) saw board god #1-Jeffrey Cheng and his awesome 38 Cig, a beautiful 36 Nor-tech cat, 4 awesome A.T.'s and did I mention earlier a Sonic came along on our run . The ride from Miami to Ft. Laud was the highlife (Miller) of the weekend, 2-4' rollers, we were all flying in the air and I was more than happy to show off my new 28" 5-blade Herings, what a great prop, Radio Active planed up super easy, handled like a rollercoaster on rails and got up to 96.6 with 150 - 200 rpms to go in 2' plus footers.
Next A.T. run will be in Destin end of March, (Sonics allowed )the more the merrier

It was Great

We had an excellent time. The water was choppy and except for Saturday, the Sun was out. We're from Illinois and when we left it was 6 degrees F. For those a bit softer in the South it may have been chilly, but for those of us from the North, it was great.

The 2' chop on the way down was no big deal. It was the wind out of the North West that kept you on your toes. It was a great learning experience with a new boat on how to make the boat ride level in a strong (20-30 knots) cross wind.

On Saturday we made a good decision, rented vans and went to Key West. WOW what an awesome time we had there. When we go on the Thunder Run in the Fall, we need to keep that in mind

The ride back on Sunday was absolutely incredible Running the big AT in that water was.............. I cannot think of anything else to say. The boat loves that kind of water. What can I say......It was Kick Ass .

My new name is Joe Offshore......and I am going to move to Florida.

And that was just the boat ride. The people we were with were all top notch.

Boatfreak28.....This dude had his 28 AT out in this snot and I was truly impressed....with him and the boat.

Attitude Adjustment.....After just having the engines rebuilt is out there cuttin' it up with the rest of us.....kicking my butt......and partying with the best of them....we were so glad it alllllllllllll worked out.

Jassman.....I am seriously envious of Jassman and his great props so I am not going to say anything except that I was really glad you guys were there really

Keith and Audrey...It was great to meet you guys and hope you can join us in the future.

Pat.......Dude......you build an Awesome boat

"The ride from Miami to Ft. Laud was the highlife (Miller) of the weekend"

I like that I got a mention and didn't even have to be there to be the best part of Jeff's weekend!

Jeff,

Hmmmmm, I guess you did not hear. It is not my boat anymore, Pat said it was the best riding, best looking boat he ever built so he wanted it for himself. So looks like I will be in that 45 thunder for this boating season.

Well guys I just walked in the door. We ran out to the lake for a little early morning fishing and hit the road at 12:30. We drove straight through 18 hours pulling the boat so if you dont mind I think I'll log off and take a little nap.

Cool

WOW... Where to start?
We had a great time... the Active Thunder family would never let a little thing like cold weather stop us from having FUN!!!

As for the water... we like to call it "Thunder Water" these boats LOVE it when it is SNOTTY!!!

Diane, Pat, Tim, Mike and all the crew at AT, thanks for getting Attitude Adjustment ready in time for the run... we were a little nervous when we got to town and one engine was still hanging from chains but like Tim said.. they work miracles there and boy did they! The boat ran great all weekend!!!

Diane, you were missed on the run! Let's make it the last one you miss O.K.

Jassman and Sandy, it was good to see you guys again.. Jassman thanks for providing the comic relief!

Thirrrsty (the Sonic) we were so glad you guys joined us and got to meet some of the crazy AT family!! We hope you can join us for ThunderRun III!

H20 & Tbikini, thanks again for all the work you did to pull this together. It was good to see you again... sure hope you can work it out to join us for the next one... you know you don't want to be the ones reading about how much fun it was instead of experiencing it for yourselves!!!

Boatfreak and crew... it was nice to meet you... your boat did great out in the Thunder Water!

One last thing... Pat and crew... from all of us on the run let me say Thanks for getting H2Os throttles fixed before the run!!

Look for a new thread to get things rolling for Thunder Run III-Destin. AttAdj and I have volunteered for cruise director duties!

Well now that I can think a bit more clearly I just wanted to say I had a blast. Everybody was fun and we really enjoyed the
weakend.

Tbikini and H20 thanks for all your work. You did a great job.

AttAdj and Mrs. you guys were a blast and I am glad we met.

Thirrrsty, you too know how to have a good time and I want to thank you for taking Brook and Sandy for a ride.

Jassman, you sir are crazy we had a lot of fun with you and Sandy and by the way do you remember when we were in the Bull in Key West you said you would just give me Radio Active when your new 42 is done. I think I'll take you up on that.

Pat,I want to thank you for every thing you did over the weekend even driving the tour bus.

Sorry guys but I dought I can make number three but I hope we can get everybody together at Lake Cumberland.

Now lets see pictures.
