Fall Thunder Run
This may be a bit early, but Tbikini and I were talking this evening about another trip to the Keys this Fall. We enjoyed the trip so much last year, we wanted to get an early start on the planning for this year.
We thought the Columbus day thing worked pretty well last time so that would be the weekend for the Fall run. We really do not want to go to the regatta.
, but that time of the year is excellent.
We also really enjoyed the Westin and plan on staying there again.
I will start making plans right now. Yes, Tbikini and I are planners. If I could get a rough estimate of the number of people and boats that are interested, I will begin making the necessary contacts.
If you own an Active Thunder, you need to go on this trip

Tracy and I are heading down to Tampa the 9th of May. I'll be bringing the boat home for the summer. The Columbas Day weekend is almaost always the weekend I take the boat back to Fla for the winter.....so hopefully if everything works out...YES...we will be there.
That time when Pat and Diane and Tracy and I stayed at the Westin was one of the nicest weekends we had. The Westin is great.
Besides Tracy and I have to make up for lost time since we've been unable to go on the last few trips.
It should be another great time.

Well again I will be working.
I am however planning on spending a large part of Febuary in the Miami area with the boat. Kevin, lets try to talk some of these guys into coming to Cumberland for the poker run.

Count Jeff and I in. October - perfect weather, hotel and great friends. Pat & Diane had better make this run.
Kevin, any thought to you & Judy doing the emerald coast run? Kevin Plenty of sights to see, you don't want to leave too quickly. ha ha .

Looks like we have three of the four "Thunder Runners" already signed up. Attitude Adjustment, better get in on this
For those of you that own Active Thunder boats, you need to make every attempt to make this event. As Sandy put it, "perfect weather, hotel and great friends".
The Westin is a 5-Star hotel, they take extra special care of you. They met us at the dock last year to pick up our luggage and the rooms are to die for.
The people are the best. I have not met an AT owner that was not "5-Star" in every respect.
I will start making arrangements the end of April so if you can make it let me know. It will be an experience that you will remember for years.
boatfreak28....c'mon buddy.......if there is any way you can make, I hope you will try....it would be great if you can join us.
Rocketman.....you get the "Go directly to jail, Do Not pass Go " card this year. If you're lucky you'll just be sleeping through the night......if you're lucky

Next week, we start the planning
Anyone interested should make sure and post before the end of the week. I am going to start making arrangements.
For those that have already indicated your interest, will you be needing more than one room ? If you remember George and Fay, they will be coming with us again this year.
Just let me know
