I NEVER HEARD OF ANY UNHAPPY A.T. OWNERS, AND I AM SERIOUSLY LEANING TOWARDS A 25' A.T.B. , BUT HOW DOES A.T. COMPARE TO OTHER 25' BOATS SUCH AS VELOCITY, SONIC, POWERPLAY, AND ULTIMATE WARLOCK. I NEVER SEE ANY SHOOTOUTS DONE COMPARING A.T.B. I AM FROM CALI, SO THERE ARE ONLY TWO HAPPY A.T. OWNERS OUT HERE THAT I KNOW OF. HI, JONAS I'VE SEEN YOUR 35' OUT ON THE DELTA BEFORE, SOUNDS LIKE YOUR MINDS MADE UP. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

I think Massive Thunder said it best. A hard fact is, there is no such thing as every boat being perfect every time. I've owned 7 boats. Some were very well known names that have had me pulling my hair out.
My case may be somewhat different than the other Active Thunder owners in that I raced my 25 Thunder in Factory 1 class. We shopped every boat manufacturer in the 24' to 29' range for over a year. Since I had already owned a Velocity, that was the early favorite, but we wanted to do our homework. So, We test drove boats, looked at construction and materials, looked at boats that failed and why, then looked at the way we were treated as well as other customers that had owned these same boats. We took our time deciding, but in the end, the 25 Active Thunder was our top choice.
As for my history, Yes, I have been back to the factory a couple of times for repairs on my boat. But, as anyone who races the professional offshore circuit can attest to, the Factory class boats take a beating far beyond what the average boat will ever see. And even though I raced my boat, Pat still honored the hull warranty. As a result, my boat has won our team quite a few first place flags, a bunch of top 3 finishes, and won some great "friendly matches" on the local lakes when we was just having a play weekend. As for comparison, there are some great boats out there, but I have film of our Active Thunder "ONE VISION" racing against and winning against Velocity, Warlock, Phantom, Formula, Fountain and a list of others.
Bottom line is, I've raced my boat hard. But thanks to the folks at Active Thunder, it is just as solid today as it was when it was new.
I keep thinking I'd like to sell the 25 and move up to a larger one, but the "One Vision" Thunder still screams, and does everything I want it to do...
...besides, I'd hate to get beat by my old boat.
