And you can see we double up the widths over the step area plus lateral gussets.

I don't know. Pat is so gentle with everything that it would be hard to know if his products are tough based on the way he USES them...

I think my friend's tailbone still hurts from the ride Pat took us on off Lauderdale a couple of years ago! Based on that ride, I'd say the boats might break...about an hour after YOU DO!

Interesting shot in #18, appears to be some type of horizontal gusset off the front bulk head. Am I correct in my interpretation? I have seen a number of manufacturers that go with a perpendicular gusset between stringers in the engine compartment, or under the engines, but this appears to be unique.

Those gussets supports the Composite-Diamondplate in front of the motors.

Good one Pat, At least it's safe to say the microwave was not going to come out in the rough.

I thought it might be to support diamond plate also. I had to take 2nd look as I could not figure why you would gusset at the top of the stringer. Wasn't sure if Active Thunder had a unique approach or reason. One of the reasons why I like to see how a particular brand is constructed. Never know when I may be shopping for a new ride. I like to keep a short list of possibilities.
