Default still not in the water

I have a 90 32 AT named Runnin Hot and we went through the motors, drives, ect. this past winter. We now have some wiring and water pump problems. I have the boat at Coastal Performance Marine in Michigan ( recommend by the engine builder) to Get it turn key. We had cam driven water pumps on our 1050hps last year and didn't have any problems. They say we need to go to 2 stage sea pumps. Was just wondering if that sound right and if anyone has heard about Coastal Performance Marine.

Passed the boat on 94 the other day near the I-96 I-94 intersection. That boat has a huge history around lower Lake MI. Still an eye catcher, sharp looking. Did you just buy that recently? Hope you get it wet soon.

Where do you boat out of?

I got it about a year ago. We were bringing back to from NC, I moved down this spring (lake Norman). Got it down there and only got 2 passes in at 3800 rpms ( bad gas) but still 85 mph. We had it in Au Gres most of the time and Houghton Lake once. We will be still taking it up to Lake Huron here and there it we ever get it back in the water. What info do you know on the boat? I dont know to much of its history.

Last year with one motor running 816hp and the other 524hp ( a few bent valves) 2 people full of fuel we ran 94 mph at 4900rpms (thats all they would turn). Now with both fresh and turning just under 1050hp per side we should be breaking the 100mph mark.
