Re: 33 active thunder ?

Talked to Pat about the 33' and he said about the same as the 37' with 525's.80+

Re: 33 active thunder ?

I don't know the specifics or if it was legit, but somebody was posting about a new 33avh with 496's for sale on another board. Sounded like a smokin deal at 149k. That board is down is down right now, or I'd post a link.

Re: 33 active thunder ?

griff please post the link when possible or give the web address.

Sounds way too good to be true. A sweet deal if it is.

Re: 33 active thunder ?

I thought so too when I read it, especially since the guy posting it showed an Ohio location. I found the post and he has since edited almost everything in it with only a bunch of smilies. Just a bunch of BS, I guess.

Re: 33 active thunder ?

will the cabin on the 33 be the same as compared to the 37 in cabin height ?

26sonic 01-23-2005 03:31 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

any info on the cabin ?

MassiveThunder 01-25-2005 05:13 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

the boat is currently being built as a poker run boat.nothing but seating in the cabin.a pair of 525's wild paint and a killer system.the deck is less than a week from completion.if anyone is interested in the boat drop me an email.

Griff 01-25-2005 11:09 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

So whats with the BS in thread you had posted on the other site????????

First its there, then its not?????????

MassiveThunder 01-26-2005 06:35 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Where was there any BS.Had you wanted to buy one you could have responded.I only build about 3 boats a year.So I elected to take the thread down. This one is for myself, but I will sell it if someone can complete the deal.

Griff 01-26-2005 03:09 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

If you wanted to take it down, you could delete the thread or you could simply have put that the boat was no longer available as described, but then again, I guess you just trying to advertise without paying for it.

I would say replacing everthing you said with a bunch of laughing smilies is BS.

Sydwayz 01-26-2005 03:17 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Can we see some pics???

MassiveThunder 01-26-2005 03:18 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

It would not let me delete the post, and it had to be replaced with something else. And I like to laugh.Thats why the smiles. Is this really all you have to do all day is worry why a post was not deleted to your liking? Are you the post police or something? Before you call someones post is BS you may want to know the story.

Griff 01-27-2005 01:51 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

No, I'm not the post police.

OK, so lets hear the story????????????? Then everyone can decide on there own.

BTW, I started out passing info along to other people on this site that could have helped you sell the 33AVH you posted about. That is evident from my first post in this thread.

MassiveThunder 01-27-2005 06:23 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Have You Read Post #12?have You Read Post #15?STORY TOLD.

Re: 33 active thunder ?

I say we hear from PAT.

Pat,

Who is this guy? Is he a dealer for you? I know we spoke last week about the 33AVH and it seemed that you were selling it direct or is it going to Massive Thunder?

Jassman 01-27-2005 07:31 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Massive is a dealer, good guy from what I know and a good friend to Pat. Jeff

Griff 01-27-2005 02:42 PM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

So all your posts here and on the other site are about the same boat???? and you changed your mind on how you were going to have it set up with power and options. Had you posted that on MWBP, there would have been no confusion.

I really didn't start out trying to get into a pissin match with you. When I originally posted, it was to pass info along to other people about the boat you had being built. I certainly was not intended to stir chit up. As you can see by others peoples posts in this thread, they were interested and also a bit skeptical because the deal seemed to good to be true. Sorry if I offended you with BS comment.

TRUCE!!!!!!!!!!

Massive Thunder Is An A/t Dealer In Ohio And Is A Great Guy To Work With. He Has Also Come To South Florida Numerous Times For Poker Runs And Is A Fun Guy To Hang With. Pat Knows Him Well. You Can Argue That His Posts Should Have Been Deleted But Massive Thunder Would Never Purposely Misrepresent The Active Thunder Product That He Sells And Is Proud Of.

Yeah, and he picked me up at the Cleveland Airport and delivered me my new Vette because my GM connection in Florida would only get me an ol' Pontiac GTO......just busting on ya Steve.

Ok, I went to the MWBP link and see a whole bunch of nothing.
So, please allow ME to start from scratch and ask again...
Is there a 33 Thunder out and running? Can we see pics of it? Is it in Florida or Ohio?

Re: 33 active thunder ?

pat back to my question about the 33 cabin , is it the same height and layout as the newer 37 ?

MassiveThunder 01-29-2005 08:08 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

just out of curiosity.of all of you that are asking about the 33,do any of you have the intention of buying one?

excursion 01-29-2005 08:45 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Nope not me, but I have owned two now, and have tried to promote AT everywhere I go ,
Rich bought a new one because he saw mine and really liked it. I know alot of people in the Mid-atlantic area that have called my about my 32 and 37. So any more info that I can share would benifit you and AT. Some pepole are not looking for a 37, only want a 32 or 33.
If I were a dealer and someone ask me a question about a boat , buyer or not I would do my best to get them the info. Thats the different between a good salesman and a GREAT one. I have always been told if your going to do something, dont do it half way either 110% or dont do it at all.

My .02 !!

Gordo 01-29-2005 09:10 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

Pat,
I wasn't planning on it, but it's cold and snowing in Kansas and I could use a good excuse. Why? what ya got?

Massivethunder,
Quite a bold question for a salesman. Are you implying that if every member of offshoreonly.com are nothing more than tire kickers you'd kick us off the lot?
Considering the number of boats sold as a direct, or indirect result of this website, one would think you would be trying to get the requested info out for the public to see ASAP. You even have current Active Thunder owners trying to help you out. And make no mistake, there are some loyal Active Thunder fans that have possibly had a part in promoting your sales. I realize that a screen name on a computer screen might seem like nothing more thana bunch of kids putting handprints on the glass trying to look in the candy store window, but EVERY boater has 3-foot-itus.
So, to answer your question, No. I've been researching 30'-35' boats for the last year because I have so much extra time on my hands and I love to burn up bandwidth.

MassiveThunder 01-29-2005 09:39 AM

Re: 33 active thunder ?

the reason for the direct question is that if you are interested,I have some special intro pricing available on the first 3.sorry for being rude,Im just a direct person.
