Default serpentine belt w/ b&m 250 blower

I'm installing a B&M 250 blower on my nsx and am bound and determined to use the stock serpentine system. The belts only overlap about 3/8in. My main concern is losing that amount on the snout pulley splines when I space it out. It only has about an inch of spline to begin with. Has anyone out there done this? All the shops I've called say I can't do it and have to convert to v-belts. I'll show 'em, "can't" never did nothing! I think it will be a much cleaner look and obviously still be user friendly.
