HP/speed question on a 31 AO
 

I am wondering what the speed difference would be if you went from 115 mph at 5200 with 690HP@5200 to 850 hp at 6000. Will 160 hp pick up 800 rpm with the same ratio/prop/weight setup? Using the prop slip calculator with the current slip etc it says 131 is this really feasible?

Ohhh Boy! Whatcha got up your sleeve? I'd imagine Quest would have some insight.

I seen a cool pic. of your boat in the Nov. issue of performance boating magazine, actually the boat on the cover has very similar graphics to your 31

yep I got the issue. It is a pic of me putting it on the Pier 57 boat. (i hope he reads this) :)

Now reality is back where it should be; the cat is out in front of the V.
