A true tunnel will always do better in chop vs center pod, I've had mine in Lake Erie many times, crossing from Leamington to Put-in-Bay, no problem in 2-4's - more than that your going to get soaked,

I have a Chris Cat (AO purchased the molds) and have ridden in a 28 Eliminator. I can assure you in rough water they are not even in the same league. Good luck
