Some of the fastest 3100's out there running boxes and bravos. are running at or very close to 2" above the bottom.

Yeah well if I had a 3100 with big power(800+) I would have Arnesons or Weismanns on the transom. Not gonna take a chance with drives rated for 600hp...

What about using an IMCO SCX drive with the #6 prop shaft?
