Merlin I have a question. WHAT IN THE HELL IS THE NUMBER. All I know is that since I started chasing the "number" I have spent all my money and my stuff is all broke. Damn this number I say. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Before I knew of this so called number I had 4 years of near trouble free boating, now the number has my **** on the stand and on the trailer. But I am having more fun now than I ever had.

Merlin-Can you reliably turn 6500 with the Comp hydraulic roller? My engine builder told me to keep them under 6,000. Are you using an intercooler? Awesome power! Do you think the Canfield heads (ported?) are the key?

these new comp lifters work great and you can put more valve spring pressure on the seat and so far they are working fine. hyd rollers have cam a long way. why run a solid roller when you can put up these numbers with hyd rollers. boat will probally run about 120 to 125mph. its not going to go any faster. i dont care what everyone else says about running the inflated speeds that they run. my gps doesnt lie and last year it was funny that a boat that on its best day went 115 to 116mph it burnt dont the so called 120mph plus warriors. i keep you guys posted. NEXT THE 565CID SUPERCHARGED 32 SKATER!!!!!! dyno results in about a month. see ya

dueclaws also those canfield heads worked well and im happy them also the skater engines are getting the new airflow rec. head the they will have to me in 2 weeks for dyno testing thats what the holdup is on the skater. the boat is rerigged and ready for power. i hop to see 1100 h.p plus on the dyno at 7500rpm. a solid roller will be the order for that one see ya soon charlie amann
