Hey you Nykamps better get ready for the BIG APACHE invaision this summer. I don't know which will be more impressive, SOTW or all the APACHES that are going to be sniffing around in the bushes. Looking forward to seeing all you kids soon. Carl, we need to talk so we can set up a cocktail cruise, OK.

Hi Steve, I'm on the board for Boyne Thunder and I just wanted to say congrats. on the new boat it sounds awesome, I don't know much about Apaches and I'm curious about Allez Vite??? I also would like to thank you for all of the wonderful things you have posted about Boyne Thunder. I was just looking at the registration sheet and I see you are registered but don't have a boat listed yet, we also have a page on our web site www.boynethunder.com where you can send in photos of your boat and a bio, we would love to see your boat on there and it's history. I'm looking forward to seeing you again and if you have any ? or needs of any kind we are here to help, please feel free to ask. Thanks, John Bennett

Steve,
If you need the pictures downsized or posted send them to me.
Dan @ Chicago Powerboat . com

I would love to see your boat at the Chicago Poker Run July 22 & 23 rd. Tony with Subtle Approach has already signed up. Casey, the editor from Extreme Boats Magazine, will be taking pictures at our event. That would make for a great picture for the magazine!

great pics, when/if I make it to SOTW, i would love to get a ride in it Steve, the classic lines and paint seem timeless. i'm a bigger cockpit and cabin kind of boater, but I love to see the strictly business ones!

Congrats! That is one of my favorite 41's.
I have an OPT video clip somewhere of that bad boy hitting one of those Lake Michigan rollers at full bore leaping 15' out of the water...I will see If I could find it.

Steve,
I know you guys have lots planned this summer. If you have the 22nd and 23rd of July still open I'd love to see you and your boat at the Chicago Poker Run. Tony with Subtle Approach aka "Bad Medicine" is already signed up and there are three other local Apaches thinking about doing the run. I have no idea if they will or not. I hope they will. It would be cool to get pictures of the old school boats running together. I know Casey from Extreme Boats Magazine would love to see that. If you would like any Information feel free to call me at 708-218-1566.

3 weekends in a row sounds like the start to a good summer :drink: Are summer has not started yet. It seems the club has taken all the spare time which I normally use to work on the boat. I guess I'll have to hitch a ride with the famous Mr. Cig. I heard he had people lined up waiting for his signature last weekend. :drink: Have a great weekend and don't forget to take more pictures.

I just got them at 9:02 am Thursday. We need to work out a deal on the resizing. :evilb: :D If it wasn't for my work schedule during the summer I'd be spending more time on your side of the lake. Someday i would like to do the northern fun run. I bet the scenery is beautiful up there.
Have a great holiday!

Thanks Dan, if you ever have the time, drop in in Grand Haven and head north. The Boyne run is in some of my most favorite areas, northport, beaver island, bay harbor, charlevoix, boyne city. We like pentwater, manistee, and frankfort also we'll be up there at some point this summer. Steve

Remember being over at Denisons Yard on the K-zoo river and people thought they were hearing thunder- I'd say no thats Allez Vite. Could hear her for 20 min. down the coast! "An older gentleman" my a$$!

That was no gentleman.

I'm just now catching up with OSO. Didn't realize that Allez Vite was back in MI already.

Between seeing how great she looks, and seeing Carl's re-do of Warhawk, I'm starting to feel real homesick.

And jealous.

Perhaps even "gentlemanly," and more than a decade older !!!!!
