I believe I saw this boat tooling down I-94 in St. Joseph MI this afternoon.

Re: Allez Vite Sighted................

Yeap, Steve and I finally got all the trailer issues straightened out so he could head north this morning. Man it is nice when you have a sixteen year old trailer and you call the mfg and they KNOW what you're talking about. Leaving a trailer out in the S.Fl. sun for nine years ain't good for it, I don't care who's it is.
Glad you made it home safely Steve. Talked to Carl in Key Largo today, he wants you to come back and finsh his boat, he's tired of only getting an hour or two an evening on it.

Robert

Thanks guys, it a dream come true for us, I just gave her a bath and backed her into my shop. I want to thank Mr. Tanner for all his help the past couple of weeks, and Mr. Mc Manus for his help and surport. Thank you,Steve.

I must have been in a cave somewhere as I had no idea !

Best Of Luck with that bad boy......

Re: Allez Vite Sighted................

Robert, I take it the trailer is a Myco? If it is a Myco it also looks allot like the older Target Trailers which I believe went out of business. What an awesome package!

Nykamp 04-13-2005 11:45 AM

Re: Allez Vite Sighted................

Wes she was at TNT for the last year plus getting alot of updates, we dropped her in monday and me and the former owner took her for a 2 hour tour and we loadeder back on the trailer. Mr. Mc Manus wanted to see her before I brought her home, and we stayed by the factory for a couple of days. We had the pleasure of metting APACHE CARL, and his son and got to see the awsome remodle his 41 is getting. Carl thanks for posting the pictures. Steve

She's got fresh 653ci Richie Zul 1000's and fresh 6's and fresh gimbals. TNT did a great job of taking care of her the last 9 years. Steve

Re: Allez Vite Sighted................

Bob,
Yeap, it's a MYCO, just called up Don & Tim with the model number and they everything about the trailer and have the parts in stock. Mainly grease seals and wheel cylinders for the brakes, salt is rough on all that stuff. Other than that, the trailer is in great shape, a little loving from Mr. Nykamp and it'll be like a brand new trailer.

Carl,
It was great to meet you and your son also, and thanks for the B-day cake and "breakfast" :drink: . I too, am looking forward to getting together this summer up there. I'll keep you posted if I need help getting in the water and looking for some of ya'lls favorite watering holes.

Robert

Re: Allez Vite Sighted................

Have never met you Steve but congratulations on your purchase of Allez Vite. Used to see her back in early 90's - an older gentleman driving her - thought hey now thats the way to spend retirement! :D Think it went by Ohio Steel at the GH races back then. Pics somewhere. Remember being over at Denisons Yard on the K-zoo river and people thought they were hearing thunder- I'd say no thats Allez Vite. Could hear her for 20 min. down the coast! And that sweet after smell of Cam2. Good to see a dream come true and bringing back some old school to W. Mi. Looking forward to more pics. Joe
