Default Paint or Vinyle? How to tell?

This sounds like a stupid question, but I'm am trying to find out if our graphics are paint or vinyle?

Father doesn't remember. and my frineds are telling me two different things. I can't tell from looking at them. But I do know for sure there is a definite bump feel to them. By bump I mean where one color ends and another begins. They are not cleared over.

I ask because I want to change them.

Here is picture of our graphics now. They are a colaberation done by a local guy of many different Apache designs from the past.

Morning Jeff, did Bobby have the work done in florida? I was thinking Scotty painted your boat, he painted TONTO and my buddys 36 that is a twin to your boat, with the single step. Have you called Bobby? Hope all is will with you and the family, say hello to your father for me, Steve.

Jeff, if you cannot get Bobby, Eric Froberg would also know. I would bet they are painted graphics. I say this because I was in the shop August of 2000 when the boat was being built. I remember talking with their painter and he was telling me about the graphics going on your 36'.

Pianted eh, thats what I thought. So how difficult is it to remove?

I don't want to wreck the finish in any way. Can it be done?

Thanx, I like the idea of Vinyle . If it stands up for two or three years. Then I can change it again. Keep her in style.

The only thing is they can only go 27 Inches wide. So it looks to scale in the picture, but I need to lay a tape against the side this weekend and try to visualize. I don't want the graphics to look out of place.

Jeff,

It's paint. If you go with vinyl for the next design, spray clear over it and it will last a long time as long as you don't nick it. If you do nick it, seal it quickly with some clear and a fine brush.

Jeff,

I like the current graffics on the boat. I think they are a distinctive Apache look. If it were mine I wouldn't change a think. BTW, that is a sweet azz boat!!!!!
