This boat just came across my memory lately. Does anyone know the current whereabouts of this boat? What year is it and what length? What kind of power does it have and how fast is it? Is it still owned by the same person? (A local (to me) car dealer) Does anyone have more info. on this boat? Any pics??

I'd say...1987 41 Apache, twin 572 c.i./850-1000HP Stotler blower motors with SSM IIIA drives. I last saw the boat at Lauderdale marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That was quite a few years back.

Yes, the owner is a friend of my dad's. He is a car dealer in NJ. It is a 41' and a mid 80's boat. I'm not sure on speed but it has big power and I would guess it runs in the mid 90's as he use to race it.

THANKS for the pic...that's the first time I have seen it in years!! Last time I saw the boat it was sitting next to the "Precious Metal" Fountain at ATCO Raceway (street night) before heading down to the shore I guess...was probably the early to mid 1990s. I have never seen it in action...in water.
So Mr. "K" still owns it. The old dually (tow vehicle) is for sale on his lot. It was painted to match the boat...and inside the seats are made like triple racing bolsters.

I just got off the phone with Frank. It is a 1987, light lay-up (no cabin), 6 man bolster, with staggered 572/1000's. He says it runs 105mph. Frank is trying to get to KW and if he does the boat will be there.
