Apache called Shaka?
Is there an Apache called Shaka? If so does anyone have info on it along with pics. Looks to be a sixpack with twin chiefs and sixes black hull.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
If he took care of it like he did "SAM" his other 41 now called HAMMERHEAD run as fast as you can away from it, he trashed SAM. I flew there to buy it a couple of years ago. Both boats are in St. Tropez France, he also used to own RUNNING BRAVE the 47 know called SPIRIT OF APACHE.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
figures it would be overseas. Saw the listing at CMS and was digging for info before calling. Thanks for the heads up.

If it's here have Ed Cozzi check her out , it is really light, and really fast.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
Just saw it, holy crap it looks nice! I remember seeing the pics in the Apache Pictures thread a long time ago. It was always one of my favs. Here's the link http://www.custommarinesales.com/cla...page=out&id=60
From those pictures it looks to be in nice shape. Who knows what the hull looks like. Either way, we all know black is fastest! :evilb: |

Hey dudes,
I called about Shaka yesterday ( ). It's still in Europe but is coming back over soon. The owner bought a new boat that's being shipped over there, and Shaka is coming back on the transport. Pete has a buyer that's sea trialing this week. |
Re: Apache called Shaka?
115k for a 1000 hp stagger and sixes.... when priced aggresively thiese things move in a week
|
Re: Apache called Shaka?
If it doesn't sell email me, I'm interested.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
$115K seems dirt cheap for that rig. All I've got right now are bills and pocket lint damn it...
|
Re: Apache called Shaka?
Called as well today to see, but,not much info available on the boat at this time. Sea trial is due to happen tomorrow for prospect buyer, interior is 2 yrs old, 1 motor is fresh(due to sucking in a bag on water pick up) the other has low hrs but not sure on how many. said they will have more info about it tomorrow. Oh and no trailer is with it. It is not state side yet.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
Only 2 factory black 41's...Shaka and the Firewater race boat that's currently for sale.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
Firewater wasn't black from the factory.

Re: Apache called Shaka?
Would any one be interested in talking about the Saccenti, Kramer years. I worked at that shop on 135th and 17th and worked with all the top guysVictor Chapman, the son of Nick Chapman, one of the premier plug builders and marine carpenters in the area. Pedro Arcia, the laminater, Mundo Leanardes on the glass crew.
Next door was the rig shop where they installed all the hardware, out-drives, engines, and did all the electrical work. The riggers, Tom Evans and Randy Robinson, were some of the best in the field. I started there the next week, and was lucky to work with these guys who were generous with their knowledge. |
