So are you saying that after 1984 Apache changed all the boats? How many were built before 1985? NK

Does this mean you think there are only two good apache's? NK

Re: Looking for a 41 Apache

I believe the transoms were different on the first couple of boats as well. The early 41's didn't have the outward angle just before it meets the deck.

ROFL :drink:

LOL, Papache should write a peer reviewed paper on how transom angle affects hydrodynamic performance of the running surface on the bottom of a 41 Apache in relation to the mounting height of the tailpipes. It would be good reading. I tried to stay out of this one, but I couldn't take it anymore :p

DirtyMoney 01-26-2007 03:48 PM

Re: Looking for a 41 Apache

I believe there were more than two made this way because my mold came from the Team Apache boat and is made this way if memory serves me correctly. Post some transom pics to show the difference.

The speed of a 41 is a function of weight, HP, drive type, and drive height. The year of the boat, transom angle and freeboard have nothing to do with it. The bottoms(running surface) on all 41's are the same.

Sorry Rob, according to Papache's timeline Allez Vite and Warhawk are not two of the "Fast Ones" so I would stay away from them  I would also avoid Tatonka, Flying Falcon, Tonto, Predator, Hoggie, ect cause none of them runs 125 on pump gas as previously stated either.
I can now say with the compelling evidence that has been revealed that Sabers are a piece of chit like Papache stated because they will never run 125 on pump gas. A humbled NK :(

I suppose his boat would go 125 on pump gas if you drove it off Niagra Falls.......................

That is right they are not the fastest apache's mine are.do some motor research then run your mouth. I know apache better then you guys think I owned three of them and they all run diffrent bring any one of those boats around N.J.and we will see. the bolts on allez vite are worn out the motors were in and out so many times warhawk is the ugliest paint job on an apache ever sabers dont inpress me at all.if your saber would run 125 it would brake in half. here are mine 1500hp let's see what you have

Did it sell yet? Since it's the fastest one out there it must be sought after and extremely valuable.

sabers dont inpress me at all.if your saber would run 125 it would brake in half.

I'm not running my mouth, I asked you some questions.

Most people on this board and around the docks would agree that these are two of the sweetest Apache's ever but you are entitled to an opinion.

How many rides have you had on a 41 Saber to come to this conclusion? NK

BTW I will never get 0-4% slip on a 41 so I admit I won't see 125 in my lifetime.

You mean like a Saber he has never seen, or been in, or telling Hot Duck his 45 Apache isn't worth Paul's two sterlings, or maybe that two of the nicest Apache's ever are ugly or that there were only two good apache's made anyway ect, ect, ect, ect.............??????????? This is a good question.
Maybe you should only comment on the things you have experience with, Saber isn't one, and maybe you might want to refrain from trashing other people's boats even if you don't hold them in high regard. We all work hard for our toys and we are all proud of what we have. Not once in this or any other thread has anyone trashed your boats. Just a thought. NK
