41 apache with lambo's

How well would a 41 with lambo's & #6's run? I heard the lambo's don't have much torque for a boat this heavy. I bet the cost of parts would be threw the roof & not to mention tough to find. Comments anyone? It's a mid 80's 41. :D

I almost bought this boat a few years back when it had Merc 575´s and number 3 drives but we could not agree on the price. It was converted to lambos and sixes in 2005/2006 in St. Tropez asking price is 250.000€ Boat is still in St. Tropez but I have not seen it after the conversion. Lambos do sound awsome but it is a lot of money.

No - that's not the boat. The boat I am talking about is here in the US. Anyone remember a sutphen with Lambo's in Chicago- it was called NAS-T. I saw this boat on Lake Michigan -what a sound. :D Doesn't anyone know about these engines?

I know I saw lots of them puking water out of the sparkplug holes when Mercruiser had their name on them. I know few (if any) ever crossed a finish line. I know there was virtually no support for them when they were being imported here and all these years later I'm guessing it hasn't gotten any better. That's probably enough.

Bill still has NAS-T, and still has the lambos, but they are not in the boat, at this time.

Unless down time & $$$ aren't an issue (like if you have annother daily driver boat) I wouldn't be keen on it.. It would be one hell of a neat ride to own though.. In my opinion it would be better to find an Apache with more conventional big power in it... Just my 2 cents... :) Jamie
