Do you guys think the boat would move if I cut another $20K off the asking price? I found a possible replacement with a full cabin, but will need 185-190 out of the Apache to get there. Any ideas?

Depends on how bad you want to move it. as everyone says it's a buyers market, and we are no different than anyone else as where we want to make as much on our boats as we can. If you have someone that has offered that amount and can prove it, then it may be worth it to let it go. It's a tough decision, i think about it all the time.

Anything you do with the boat will only make the boat more spectacular. I like seeing the changes some boats have gone through over the years (like Wild's F2 and yours/LS's F2 TS) While some will argue that changing a race boat to a pleasure boat is sacrilegious; who is racing these boats as is anymore anyhow? Most of the current competing race boats are totally new school, and nothing like the machine this one is. I'd say convert it; and go WHOLE HOG on the process, and make it a spectacular Poker Run boat that EVERYONE wants to lay their eyes, on, and lay some of the styling back to the original race boat theme. |
