I believe TNT has done a lot of work on the boat over the past couple years, they would probably be the best source of info. regarding the question of total re-rig or not on this particular boat....

Not only do you get the radar arch, you get a linen Versace suit and a pastel blue t-shirt. Maybe a fake Rolex.

I'm not debating whether or not the boat should be re-rigged... To each their own.

Bottom line is, I don't remember when the last time I've seen a 41 for under $100k+?, let alone $75K (or better). If thats the price of membership that so be it, I paid about the same for my membership.... The fact of the matter is both engines are fresh, transmissions are new and the drives are rebuilt. Not to get into semantics but half the work is done already. So for a gas tank, guages, removal of the arch, powdercoating and wiring... you have a boat that is ready to run.

Anyone who's interested should have it surveyed first...to know what they're getting into.

If I can get my friend to send me some of the pictures of this boat running in rough water I'll post them.

I think he had the boys who thought the boat was worth tons of money convince him that he had a goldmine....

Still the cheapest one around....at least from what I see. If someone wants a 41 and can negotiate their own deal, they may be able to get the boat at a decent price... P.S., the boat was sold twice but people with so-called $$ couldn't close the deal in the 9th inning.

no offense to anyone, but my $0.02 says this is a better buy, even for 45k more.
