Default Apache Scout with Bigblock

Just wanted to ask a general question about the approximate value of an early 80's Scout repowered with a carbureted 502 and Bravo drive. The boat is clean and on an aluminum trailer. I have not followed the value of these boats, so any help anyone could offer on a price range would really be appreciated.

There are more O/B's around than stern drives. It all depends on condition. No matter how nice it is, an old hull with old interior will only bring so much. Of course, the engine hours are important too. I would guess if it shows well, has a solid hull and good motor and drive.... $8K - 10K. I've attached a pic of my fully restored O/B Scout

Thanks CMC. Your boat looks great! I must confess to not knowing much about the Scouts. If I make an offer, I just want it to be an educated one.

Hey JnT. Not yet. Had a couple of helpful OSO members check it out for me. (JAXOUTLAW and FormulaBill). Nice guys. Very helpful. I think it would be a cool boat, but it's not really what I am looking for. Talked to the owner (not the Marina) and he came down 1500 on the phone. I would want to add tabs and full hydraulic steering to get the boat set up the way it should be to run 85 mph safely. More $$$. A couple of other boats have caught my eye in the last week or two. Lots of interesting deals poping up. I want to be sure I am happy with whatever I buy being as it is such a difficult market to sell into. Thanks for your input on the boat. Never know, the price comes down some more and i may go get it!
