Great work,.............. What was centerline of the drives on the stagger? Also where did your ( X ) demension end up with the extension boxes? I'm guessing above the bottom of the boat, but was wondering how much with that long of a hull. Thanks Jon |
I've noticed that the last portion of the wind fairing (at the top)on the 47 is flaired foward. Would anybody know how well this design has on de-flecting wind away from the cockpit? ....In principal it looks like it should work well.........I've seen many types of designs in regards to wind de-flection .i.e, 37 Aronow, although it has no windshield, it has a built in wind scrubber on the deck............at speed, curious how well the design on the 47windscreen works.

Something like this?........Wondering how the "flair" at the top of the wind screen can effiently keep the wind off you.

Actually his even leans forward a bit. Basically it kicks the wind back forward a bit so it flows up and over your head. You still get plenty of wind in your face, but you can hear your engines much better and hear what they are doing in the event you have marine gremlins ruining your day. hope that helps Jon |

Thanks for the info. Very respectable speeds too, with the 1.62 ratio. Personally I would like this ratio better than the 1.5 it's being changed to ...............Reason: Torque multiplier for mid range acceleration where you spend most of your time boating anyways. Boat will always be a show stopper thought !:drink: Jon |
