Default ssm#5's on a 41 side by side?

Does anyone of you apache guru's know if #5's would work on a side by side 41 apache being about 5 to 6in shorter than the 3a's that are on it now?

1 pair 3Afresh...20k....1:68..........
1 pair 3fresh....18k......1:58.........
i think 5s are out of production as well..
boat goes next......

jester runs 5s on boxes....talk to him or someone that can tell about getting on plane........

Jester has 5's on it for years now. It's a little slow coming up on plane but then runs great.

Thanks Mark, do you know if mike is running stock lenth drives or does he have spacers and how bad is it coming up on plane?

Ike, Mike has a spacer (not sure how big) and 5 bladed props.
The gimbals are at the original #3 dimension. He does not have boxes. It comes up on plane much better since the 5 bladed props.
